Fun Race Night - Friday 28th October - Halloween Fancy Dress

The Club is holding a Fun Race Night on Friday 28th October at the Lancaster Club. To raise funds for the Club, we're holding a fun race night at the Club and as it's Halloween, we're going to have it in fancy dress. It will be a really good chance for Players to have a laugh by getting dressed up and have some fun and for the Parents, you can have a bet on a donkey or two and relax with the other Parents & Friends of the Club over a couple of drinks. Please speak to Chris for more details. Come on Avros !!!!!!!

Signing on Fees

The Player signing on fees for the Club this year is £20 per player.

The signing on fees need to be paid in to Mel (Harveys Mum) at training this coming Thursday 22nd September 2011.

Following their tremendous win this weekend, Avro Under 14s have been awarded a prize by Manchester FA in partnership with Metrolink.

Manchester FA recently announced a new Football Development Partnership with Manchester’s public transport tram provider, Metrolink.

As part of the partnership, Metrolink are selecting a single outstanding performance from all County Cup matches by awarding a ‘Team of the Round’.

After our tremendous 5-4 win against Barr Hill, the Under 14’s at Avro FC have been chosen by Metrolink as the ‘Team of the Round’.

Manchester FA & Metrolink will be presenting to the Under 14’s team Managers Robert Fuller & David Moxon and their team, Free Weekend Family travel passes for the entire playing squad (up to max 16, inc manager) and their families on the Metrolink network.

This is a fantastic achievement for our Club and for our Under 14s and confirms, at FA level, our teams ability to put on a great game of football.
